Tehran Energy Consultants as a knowledge-based Company, the first company in the field of upstream studies of the oil and gas industry, was established in August 1991. The company was established with the primary goal of providing technical consulting services to the oil and gas industry (in the fields of exploration, hydrocarbon field studies, preparation of development plans, drilling and completion of wells, and providing solutions for reservoir production management).

Tehran Energy Consultants Company is the first company of its kind in Iran to have the highest ranking in the field of oil and gas exploration and extraction studies by the Deputy for Strategic Planning and Supervision of the Presidential Institution. To date, it has carried out more than 120 independent projects of full field studies, preparation of field development plans, and technical-engineering-supervision services.
